The Thor is made from recycled nylon. No third-party certification (RCS, AWARE™) is confirmed. The recycled nylon claim is manufacturer-stated. Braided construction extends cable lifespan significantly compared to standard PVC cables, reducing replacement frequency. For certified recycled content in cables, confirm RCS or equivalent certification status with the SoMerch team. Braided recycled nylon is a meaningful material choice — the durability benefit alone reduces waste over time.

The Thor is laser engraved with a print area of up to 20×5 mm on the connector housing. Laser engraving is permanent. The very small area suits a compact logo mark or monogram only — standard multi-element corporate logos require simplification to a compact single-element version. 20×5 mm is among the smallest print areas in the SoMerch catalog. Treat it as a quality mark rather than a prominent brand display. A same-day mockup at actual scale confirms legibility before production.
